Sand Land | Try 17 Tips To Win Big and Explore the Games!

Sand Land

Inroduction of Sand Land

Coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows on April 26, 2024, Sand Land is a video game based on the one-volume manga of the same name, created by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama.

Sand Land

In the time leading up to its release, I’ve been immersed in this open-world action RPG and have compiled several beginner-friendly suggestions to help you get a head start.

Stick to the default vehicle control Scheme

As is now the norm for most game vehicles, pressing R2 and right triggers gives you more control while you’re behind the wheel of your first vehicle. You can do this with Sand Land’s alternate control scheme, but you shouldn’t keep going with that temptation.

In Sand Land, you’ll be in your car more than on foot and spend much time driving, fighting, and exploring. Physical exertion is required to keep a controller trigger under continual pressure.

Plus, some vehicles, like Jump Bots, have legs rather than wheels, so a thumbstick can be easier to use than a wheel. When fighting, using the left thumbstick for direction is also more natural.

Your vehicles are essentially Beelzebub with armor.

When using the other control scheme, be sure to activate Auto-Pilot

Also, an auto-pilot is available! Your vehicle will begin to advance mechanically the moment you press the d-pad. This will relieve strain on your index and middle finger as you accelerate with R2/Right Trigger. Plus, you’ll have an easier time taking it all in (the game’s skyboxes are pretty charming).

Wait until you get the Jump Bot to explore the World

Playing as Prince Beelzebub and his friends in Sand Land, an open-world action role-playing game, they are free to discover the realm, collect things, and take on side quests. You may access a more incredible selection of locales after you receive your first Jump Bot, which happens shortly after you head to Junker Market: Lisab. So, I recommend waiting till then.

Do the side missions; you’ll like them!

Take advantage of the side missions as you explore Sand Land. The story draws you in, albeit the tasks aren’t exciting (you’ll often have to visit a location, shoot an object, speak to someone, etc.).

Without giving too much away, the side mission stories in Sand Land are heavier on emotions than you would think, and there are multiple paths to complete some of the quests.

Additionally, you can ask people to move inside Spino, your base of operations, when you fulfill side quests.

Remember all Abilities

The assistance of his friends will always be helpful to Prince Beelzebub, no matter how powerful he believes himself to be (and he is undoubtedly powerful). As you level up Rao and Thief, you’ll unlock new skills. They can be programmed to respond to the L1/LB + Face Button combination. On the PlayStation 5, for instance, you can assign Rao’s “Superhuman” ability—which increases your vehicle’s attack damage—to L1 + X or one of the other face buttons.

Here, you can find a wide range of talents you can combine in whatever way you like.

Swap Weapons when Reloading

Waiting for reloads is annoying when enemies are closing in fast. To reload, press R1/RB by default. While one weapon reloads, you can switch to your backup gun and fire with it (assuming it is also loaded).

Although some weapons are more suited to taking down specific types of foes, it is possible to establish a rhythm by letting your guns cool down (reloading) as you switch to and employ a different weapon.

Things are accessible in Vehicles

Sand Land

It would help if you refrained from getting out of cars to check chests that you come across to save yourself some time. It is sufficient to ride your vehicle up to a chest and then press the Triangle/Y button to open it. Furthermore, you can shoot iron ore deposits with your vehicle’s guns and then drive over them to collect them.

Vehicles can Typically be Deployed

Do you find yourself against an adversary too difficult for Beelzebub’s fists and kicks to handle independently? Examine the possibility of deploying a vehicle instead. Even though specific sequences do not permit you to call a car, you can leap into a tank or Jump Bot (or whatever else you have) in most locations, such as while exploring caverns and dungeons.

The changing process can be done without getting out of Cars

Sand Land will require you to switch cars regularly and sometimes multiple times within the same sequence. You do not have to leave the building. Choosing a new vehicle is as easy as holding the right button on the D-pad. The seat you are currently occupying will be replaced instantly with the next available seat.

Avoid pointless brawls and use your tank to wipe out your Adversaries

When fighting with your fists, especially against wild animals, you must be very careful. You not only expose yourself to the possibility of taking on harm that you do not require, but it also has the potential to take a little bit longer. Alternatively, you should get inside your tank or another weaponized vehicle to eliminate random hostile creatures and bad guys, mainly if there are many.

R2/RT is Dodge

Those who spend much time playing melee action games will most likely be accustomed to using the circle/B button to dodge (or, at the very least, some face buttons). The default dodge in Sand Land is the R2/RT combination. Undoubtedly, it is unusual, which may cause you to take more hits than you should take advantage of.

It’s changing targets in battle, which is impossible by flicking the right Stick

When engaged in melee combat, you can lock on to an adversary in Beelzebub by pushing the right thumbstick (or R3 on PlayStation). It is similar to how it works in many other action games. On the other hand, you cannot swap targets by flicking the right stick in the same way you would in Dark Souls or another popular game.

Sand Land

In combat with multiple opponent types, you must click and re-click the thumbstick to change targets.

You can Remap Many of the Buttons

Sand Land bestows upon you two distinct control styles. You can change most controls by going to Options > Control Settings. For example, this menu option can tie Beelzebub’s dodge to circle/B rather than R2/RT.

Remember to tinker with your vehicles!

Managing the pieces of your vehicles is necessary to get the greatest possible outcome in a fight in Sand Land. Be sure to check in with Anne regularly while in Spiro so she may learn about the new equipment you have discovered while traveling.

In the Upgrade Vehicles area of Anne’s garage menu, you can upgrade vehicles to a higher level than their average starting level. If you wish to keep effective weapons and equipment for you, you also have the option to improve individual elements.

Objective Markers are Confusing

Even though it is technically possible to untrack the primary quest in Sand Land, the objective marker will remain the same under any circumstances. The fact that the icons for the primary mission and the side quests have yellow stars makes it simple to become disoriented.

Be sure to either use pins to indicate the locations of side-quests on the map or become accustomed to distinguishing between them. In contrast to the primary mission, represented by a yellow star above a badge symbol, side quests are denoted by a star with a downward arrow underneath it.

The Genji Dragon Encounter is all About Dodging, Not Speed

You must outmaneuver a Genji dragon early on in the Sand Land game. It’s a hilarious scene taken directly from the manga that spawned it. On the other hand, persistent yelling to drive faster is not helpful because you cannot outrun this beast based on your speed (overly chatty NPCs repeating the same lines of dialogue is a central sore spot in Sand Land across the board).

Sand Land

To avoid being attacked by the dragon, paying attention to the ground is essential. It would help if you made a sharp turn to get out of the path. Boosting and accelerating with nitro won’t help you in this situation.

Turn up the music a bit!

Sand Land has a magnificent soundtrack featuring gorgeous cool guitars, beautiful uses of gentle but compelling synth arpeggios, and a sumptuous vocal pad that comes in and out at various points throughout the game.

Is it the only issue? The music needs to be louder, thanks to the default setting! Even if everything is already set to 80, you can adjust the song’s volume to 95 or even 100. Thank you very much!

After the anime version of Akira Toriyama’s Sand Land, the video game adaptation of this one-and-done manga is a relatively beautiful open-world action role-playing game (RPG) with some intriguing themes of environmentalism, war and the necessity for people to come together to live. The following advice should make your time spent in the dunes of Sand Land less complicated.
